Want to be a cleanskin? KELLY BAKER road-tests the pick of the products.
Innovare foaming cleansing gel (100ml) $20.
This fresh-smelling cleanser is effective on the skin, yet mild. It has a rich but not overly fluffy lather which leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. Part of the new Grace Bros signature line, it is formulated from an unusual blend of ingredients including a high percentage of natural plant extracts. Apparently it's these clever little beggars that leave your skin feeling clean yet hydrated.7 out of 10
Arbre foaming skin wash (300ml) $9.95.
With gorgeous ingredients like tea tree, lavender and mimosa wattles, this foaming face wash is good enough to eat. Of course, it's even better put to use as a cleanser. It smells divine, gets deep down into the skin and cleans the pores without seeming to strip natural moisture. Not only that, it's 100per cent Australian and is not tested on animals. Laura Mercier Skincare one-step cleanser (236ml) $70.
We've read all the articles and are only too aware that we are supposed to cleanse, tone and moisturise but, frankly, I for one have better things to do. That's one of the reasons I absolutely love this product. It does all the good things and restores the pH balance of your skin in one simple step. Massage into your face then wipe it off with a face cloth. You'll get rid of dirt, make-up and stubborn mascara just like that. Brilliant!
